Those that worked outside of the home were in poor circumstance. To my way of thinking "women's lib" was about freedom to make choices not about everyone must now go out into the work force.Many did and others did not----we all have the path we choose to follow and one is not any better than the other. One of the most controlling statements is ' I just don't understand you"--implying that an explanation is necessary . The best reply is, " You don't need to and change the subject--better still walk away if possible without being outright rude.
