Earth

Humus is a Latin word that means "earth."  It is also a root word for "humble."  We come from the earth.  We are but dust, and yet we are so much more.  To be humble is to avoid falsely building ourselves up, false feeding the ego.  But it does not mean that we are nothing, food for the worms when we die.  To be humble is to be on a gradual movement, the unfolding of our inside giftedness, the heart light that is truly ourselves.  Some of this revelation will come in silence and an inner peace.  Sometimes we are more disrupted to find out how beautiful we really are than to find out our faults.  If you can learn to love yourself, then you can learn to love all.
