When To Start

I have a blog reader who always seems to read my blog before I even post it on FB early in the morning.  She is up early because she starts her day the night before.  I meet people who tell me they cannot make an early morning meeting or early church.  I ask why?  Inevitably they went to bed late the night before.  Many people with good spiritual paths begin their day the night before.  Drunks who could not get up before mid-morning, now make 7 AM meetings in my City.  You can have a life and go to bed early.  My sister in Florida has a life and she gets up to watch sunrises at the ocean.  Learn from the winners.

  1. I love this and that your sister chooses to wake up to watch the sunrise at the beach, that must be so powerful! For me, getting up early is a gift to myself; a way to say thanks to god for another day; and those around me benefit even if they don't know it, haha! Have a happy day, Father Ryan. 🤗

  2. Some of my most memorable times involved having to get up around 3AM to see the sunrise, both in Hawaii: Once to see the sunrise at Haleakala on Maui, the other on Molokai to watch the reenactment of the Birth of the Hula! However, I remain a night owl who truly appreciates watching beautiful sunsets.
