Willingness

 Willingness and willpower are not the same.  Willpower accedes to the demands of the ego.  OK, but that does little good for the heart’s desires.  Such requires a surrender and this is where willingness comes into play.  Willpower says I will surrender, but that will get you nowhere.  Well frustrated, but that is about it.  You become willing to surrender, maybe out of a deep mess, whatever, and then you wait for some Power that is not you, to take you on the journey of surrender.  Silence and solitude will show up somewhere along the way because the heart feeds on both.  So pray for willingness.
