The more one talks, the less the words are necessary. I have found this to be true in situations where someone is sharing what they think is their wisdom or experience, covering up their ego-centeredness with “wisdom words.” Ego disguised as wisdom always talks longer than is necessary. The point is made early on, but the words keep coming. The good thing about this is that it reminds me that I can use fewer words to get to my point. Should I even have a point. Silence out of fear is not a good thing. Balance.
