Gift-Giver

 I like the concept of God as the “Gift-Giver” who never ceases to give.  Why?  Because it shows God to be a verb, action, power, energy.  If you are always giving gifts then you are always active.  A lot of people stopped believing in the ‘Noun” god, up there in the sky, old, male, inactive about fixing their world.  I don’t pray to that God, but to the gift-giver.  I wake up and realize that today has been given to me as a gift.  What will I do with it?  I hope to be active, in service, such as writing this blog.  I hope to be loving rather than thinking about love.  Now is the only time I have.
