When I am weak, then I am powerful. So goes the quote. What does that mean?!! Well, an addict in recovery could tell you for example. They know they will always be addicted. So this is the weakness. But in recovery they discover the 12 steps, fellowship, service, and they feel a power they did not have when out there actively into their addiction. So they are powerful when they realize their weakness, and thus a need for some power that is not them. The same for anyone on a spiritual path. They come to realize their weaknesses and then their need for the spiritual power that can overcome this. Who needs a God if you feel you have it all together?
