Baptize The Children

The Vatican says that we should baptize the children of same sex couples.  If they are baptized why would we then not let them into a Catholic School?  Don't we say that it is the responsibility of the parents to educate the children in our faith?  So if the parents are trying to do this by approaching a Catholic school for entrance, why then say no?

  1. The hierarchy cannot say they care for children and, at the same time, protect their finances. The issues coming out with Catholic schools re homosexual teachers and the children of homosexuals will push the hierarchy more and more.
How do the bishops counsel Catholic grandparents to love their grandchildren and at the same time tell those beloved youngsters that their parents are "objectively disordered" and living in sin?
I am waiting for Charity and Hope from the hierarchy

  2. I think the hierarchy is what we let them be. They exist because we let them. It is our responsibility to act and speak in true Christ-like ways - that is the only way they will change. No Bishop could live in a palace if the parishioners didn't give the money for that palace. If true believers want their children to go to catholic schools - no matter the secuality of the parents, then courageous followers need to step up and open the doors for those children. If enough act, the hierarchy will change.

Otherwise, we who sit and watch are part of that hierarchy.

    1. Please provide a specific document to your reference. I went back I reviewed the document I didn't see where "the sexual orientation of the parents should not prevent children from getting a catholic education" I didn't see where this was in your argument? Please provide a specific reference. Thank you.

  4. PLease read the document of ALL the bishops in their 1996 conference on the family. It says that the situation of the parents should not prevent children from getting a Catholic education.
