I sincerely hope your mission thrives. The Church these days seems overly intent on preaching politics and battering its members with ultimatums and threats instead of focusing on the messages of love, forgiveness and daily sacrifice that convert followers from the inside out and are therefore more effective in the long run!

I think friendships are one of God's greatest gifts to us. It does take work, it is a two-way street, but the deep unconditional love of a friend, well, nothing quite like it. It brings me a sense of calm when I think of all the other troubles in the world, and in my world.
