Passe

Suddenly, the number of people reading my blog has dropped by a lot.  Maybe I am washed up?  A person of little substance, tiresome over time.  People may have moved on, which is good for them if they are growing.  What to do?  Ah!  I will blog less and train more, doing doubles (two workouts a day, gym rat) to get into peak condition for my age.  Well maybe not.  That could lead to heart attack or injury.  Maybe move to a cave that has no internet.  Become a hermit.  No, that would be isolation for me.  Maybe God wants to teach me something about being ignored.  I will ponder this.

  1. How do you know how many people read your blog?---didn't know there was a way to keep score. Obviously there is. No matter the number;those who make up that group are probably daily readers who count on you to help us keep sane and centered---an addiction I do not want to give up!!!

  2. It's the holiday season when everyone is busy wrapping presents and attending school Christmas pageants (on Monday for us). They'll be back when things calm down.

  3. I think we have a constitutional crisis. The Russians have hacked our election process, the new Sec of State has more interest in Russian oil and gas than Americans, and the new Sec of Energy wants to destroy the Dept. of Energy and obliterate our nuclear labs. I am not sure how to even ask for God's help!

  5. I can't speak for others, but the "Christmas Crazies" seem to have taken over my life. I really have no free time.
My Facebook feed has lots of advertising now as well as a lot of time-wasting postings I can't seem to ignore. I find myself not logging onto Facebook as a way to protect my dwindling free time.
None of this has anything to do with my desire to read your blogs. I know you're not the "king of technology", but maybe one of your other readers knows of another way to distribute your musings.

  7. Even if I miss your blog for a few days, I always return to catch up to your current post. I, for one, would not want to miss a single one of yourposts.
